Baptisms

Baptisms usually take place on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 2.30pm

Preparing for Baptism -

Prior to the Baptism, in accordance with the Archbishops instructions, all parents (and if possible Godparents) must take part in preparing for the Baptism. This usually takes place on the 2nd Sunday of the month and involves watching a Video for about an hour.

The Parish provides a Baptisal candle for each child free of charge and by negotiation it is sometimes possible to have a baptism at a different day or time.

Baptismal certificates are issued upon request and these may be required for School applications, Weddings etc.
